Black Friday A Good Friday For 360 Owners!?!
Xbox Dashboard Undergoing Update on 25 November!
Word around the net is Black Friday Microsoft is looking for its dashboard to refresh.
So if this rumor is indeed true, the update will bring a shit load of new features on Black Friday, including HBO and Verizon apps in the US and BBC iPlayer in the UK. Me personally I could careless I don't watch HBO unless its for the fights and I am not a Verizon mobile carrier.
So basically the report also states that the new apps will be built, for the most part, like using Microsoft Silverlight, an application framework used for writing and running rich internet applications.
"The goal is to quickly mature the platform, with the potential of enabling other third-party developers to eventually use the Lakeview framework to build their own apps for the Xbox 360 console," says GigaOM.
Let's all just wait and see if any other information about this update surfaces the web.
